A memory hidden in a drawer
“This was my first artwork with acrylic. I was inspired by the vase that had been in my parental home for years. While I was drinking my coffee, the vase caught my eye because of a fresh flower that had just been picked. I took it with me, together with the stone and started to make a composition of it. I made a sketch and then noticed that something was still missing: the label of my favorite clothing brand whose golden thread provided a perfect finishing touch. This artwork is like a memory to me that I keep finding in a drawer.”
